Anyone in the world? even if we somehow got alternative fuels, stations & vehicles on the streets tomorrow, the oil companies will take the brunt of it not us

Its the possibility of more oil in the "future" that makes prices go down. That's why its the "FUTURES" market. Also drillin offshore is way safer than it was 20+ years ago when it was banned. Norway & other "green" countries do it with our tech and have no problems.

But,until a viable alternative to oil is there-oil will still be needed to power the economy. No oil=no trucks,trains,planes,cars. No transport=no movement of goods. No movement=no money. No money=USA is 3rd world country. Maybe we can get aid from China and have our kids on "Save the Children" and "Care". The UN could send aid workers to Detroit or StLouis. How would that feel!?
