Dec 2, 2008 - pmango: Wow! You're Actually Conservative. Only your Preemptive Strike Advocacy makes you a Neo-Con. I'm a Ron Paul Republican. I loathe those Socialist, Democrats as well. Yes! Wel-fare benefits to Illegals are a Huge Problem, Lost of Freedom of Religion in schools, gun bans etc. Not Wars in General but this recent War of Terror has accelerated the deterioration of our Civil Liberties. Yes I've read Patriot Act, HR 1955, and HR 2640. Yes, I know about Lincoln "Lincoln Unmasked" by DiLorenzo.

Dec 2, 2008 - pmango: Neo-Con = a Democrat dressed in Republican clothing. Speaking of Dems and some Neo-Cons in Congress, They gave up their power to declare War in a Joint Resolution to the Executive Branch. Slowly moving towards US to a Fascist Dictatorship and losing Check and Balances between the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial Branch of government.

Dec 2, 2008 - pmango: Speaking about our so called "enemies" the Terrorist and our Leaders (namely the Bush Family), was Usama Bin Laden in connection for the attacks on 9/11 (Check the FBI website on Most Wanted) that gave justification on Pre-emptive strike on Afghanistan and Iraq? This is the part where its gets really interesting pmango. Please answer.

pmango1000 Says:

Dec 2, 2008 - c1fuzzles; ok we agree on some things. question: are you only calling out the pre-emptive strike on Iraq(which is debatable) or ALL pre-emptives done by USA? I ask because I see many people seem to "care" about Iraqi deaths now, when more Iraqis died from sanctions, and I heard little from them then

pmango1000 Says:

Dec 2, 2008 - c1fuzzles: you are losing me on the empire part. What do you mean? When you say empire building I think of Nazis who REALLY took over countries. I agree with Paul on most issues is: smaller federal gov, give power back to states, more personal responsibility, less govt spending,) family & parents help education more than just "more funding". Paul's views on decreasing our military is where he lost me...as our military is really the only reason why we are free today.

Dec 2, 2008 - c1fuzzles: I have seen that before, LAden has like 50 kids and 100's of relatives who are in business in the Middle East. The Bush family, of course, has come across Laden's family, as the Bush do business in Mid East. Laden's family denounces him, I believe that is just coincidental. I dont get what I am supposed to answer

Dec 2, 2008 - pmango: Hey sry for calling you names. Glad we can debate a little calmer now LOL. Bin Laden was already in Connection with the Aug. 7th, 1998 Bombings of the US Embassies in Tanzania, and Nairobi, Kenya. America's Most Wanted! But Yet he spent two weeks at an American Hospital in Dubai, treated by an American Doctor and visited by the Local CIA Agent during July 4-14, 2001.(Source: La Figaro Oct. 31, 2001.) He should have been arrested right there but wasn't!

c1fuzzles Says:

Dec 2, 2008 - cont: I'm sure everyone remembers that Bin Laden's Face was plastered all over the MSM and Bush blames Bin Laden for the attacks on 9/11. And of course everyone agreed to go attack/kill him in Afghanistan. But You got to ask yourself, why is Usama Bin Laden have not been charged for the attacks on 9/11 to date? 9/11 is bigger event than the attack in 1998! But the FBI concludes that there's not enough evidence that he had any connection to 9/11. We went to war in Afghan on a LIE!?

c1fuzzles Says:

Dec 2, 2008 - cont: A little bit about the 19 Alleged "Hijackers." Most of them (~16 ?) of them were Saudi Arabian. 6 of them are still reported ALIVE! Of the 19 Dead or Alive, NONE of them are in connection with Osama Bin Laden (FBI site spells his name Usama). To date the FBI has not revised the list and have no evidence or current investigations of their connection to Bin Laden.

c1fuzzles Says:

Dec 2, 2008 - cont: You probably know all this stuff already and you can tell me. But check this out: If a relative of yours is #1 Wanted for Terrorist attacks, shouldn't your family be investigated so they can at least find them or find out if any other relatives are Terrorist also? Jan. 01 The Bush Administration orders FBI and other Agencies to back off investigations of the Bin Laden Family including Abdullah and Omar both were living in Falls Church Virgina right next to CIA HQ. (BBC. Nov. 01)

c1fuzzles Says:

Dec 2, 2008 - cont: (Wallstreet Journal Sept. 17, 01) 1998-2000 George H.W. Bush Meets with Saudi Royal and Bin Laden family on behalf of the Carlye Group which is the #11 biggest Defense Contractor in the World at that time (probably #1 now). Interesting enough, The Carlye Group Owns La Figaro! But the story on Osama Bin Laden Visiting the Hospital in Dubai on Oct. 01 has not been retracted.

Dec 2, 2008 - pmango: I would suggest start reading about the Philippine-American War (also referred to as Philippine Insurgency 1897-1902). I was born in the PI and studied some Filipino History on that war. To understand more about "Empire building" or US Imperialism.Back to the Middle East (Columbia also) mainly because its the last Oil Reserves in the World. Whoever controls that, controls the world. China can't get to it neither does Russia (Geographically speaking)

c1fuzzles Says:

Dec 2, 2008 - pmango: More on "Empire Building" The Grand Chessboard: American Primacy And Its Geostrategic Imperatives by Zbigniew Brzezinski. This was written in 1997. Talked about new strategies on US being the sole SuperPower. He suggested a "Pearl Harbor" type of attack would get US citizens to back "Preemptive strikes" to take over the Central Asia Region for Oil. Same Philosophy as Nazi Herman Goering quote. McCain staff has mentioned that an attack would help his campaign as well. remember that?

c1fuzzles Says:

Dec 2, 2008 - pmango: Oh, about the Philippines (I lived there also) the US was planning to make PI a Legitimate State of the Union like Colorado, etc. But the PI people was never an imminent threat to the US back then. but read up on that.Paul doesn't want to reduce the size of our Military, but bring close all of them home to protect our physical borders. I'm going all over the place here, sry.

c1fuzzles Says:

Dec 2, 2008 - pmango: You know about Prescott Bush, I.G. Farben and Union Banking Trust during WWII? I.G. Farben produced ~35% Germany's War machine before and during WWII. And Union Banking Trust was a known Nazi Money Launderer. The Bush family has a long history of Fascism in their blood. Fascism didn't die when the Nazi's lost in WWII, it just changed venues (US).So, not just about the Iraq War, most of all of Preemptive Wars US was involved in that I've read so far. We haven't declared war since WWII

c1fuzzles Says:

Dec 2, 2008 - pmango: Was attacking Afghanistan planned b4 9/11? July 2001. 3 American Officials, Tim Simmons (former Ambassador to Pakistan), Karl Inderfurth, Lee Coldrum, met with Pakistan and Russian Intelligence officers in Berlin and tell them that the US is planning Military Strikes in Afghanistan on Oct. sometimes Taliban Reps sat in the meetings (source: The Guardian Sept. 22, 01, BBC Sept. 18, 01, The Inter Press Service in Pakistan, Nov. 16th 01)Our military is used to start, provoke, not defend.
