Dec 2, 2008 - I feel Mccain is not a bad candidate before he was nominated for republican figure. The sad thing was the more support he needed for his base party the less of Mccain's ideas and beliefs were eliminated and differed. When he was a moderate republican he was different from the party and actually had many indepenedants and some democrats(except Liberman) supporting him. Until he became the nominee, we saw less of the Mccain views and more of the partys views, which was sad cause he's the leader.
