Dec 2, 2008 - Hi, once again nice camera work! Tell me something tho, at approx 1 minute in, where the 4 did the crossover, did you take that video on the friday at Bournemouth? Because, I videod the same performance, and it didnt happen???? They made a right mess of it, and as far as I can tell, all 4 flew off to the left! Unfortunately I zoomed out at that time, so its hard to see exactly what happened but they certainly didnt come in in a nice straight line!

Dec 2, 2008 - Hi again... sorry to pester you, lol. Did they do that break twice? because i shot the first one, before they went off into the crossovers etc, and if you watch my poor attempt at videoing it, they didnt do that break... its the very last shot on Red Arrows part one.

IainPlanesTV Says:

Dec 2, 2008 - No problem. The red arrows perform a specific display routine which only differs from event to event due to weather conditions. The manoeuvre you're looking at here is the break which occurs half way through the display. There is another similar manoeuvre involving four aircraft later on in the display known as the GYPO break. Check out the red arrows website for more details. Hope that helps.Iain
