Dec 2, 2008 - i got my metal core today, and i cant get enough of it, just amazing sound, and the thickness. i have played the metal zone as well, but in my opinion , the metal core is more metal. if ur a metallica, nirvana fan, which i am

asdf3455656 Says:

Dec 2, 2008 - Couldn't agree more!!!

mynameisDavid92 Says:

Dec 2, 2008 - So you compare the real thing to a Mult-FX pedal?

asdf3455656 Says:

Dec 2, 2008 - nah, I compared a Metal Core, To A metal Zone, but they're made by the same company, as the multi effect, so they sound the same as the real deal, I just thought it would be cool. haha

pstriple360box Says:

Dec 2, 2008 - your brother made your guitar?

asdf3455656 Says:

Dec 2, 2008 - Yeah, its pretty good. I want to get some new tuners, and a vintage fender bridge for it.

muslithefish Says:

Dec 2, 2008 - From what I've seen the best distortion for metal comes from amps (my personal favourite being the krank krankenstein. still these two pedals are damn good.

jofussdean Says:

Dec 2, 2008 - the metal core is better

Alai912 Says:

Dec 2, 2008 - Is Metal Core a new brand? I've only heard of Metal Zone before. Core does sound more deep and edgy imho. I guess I should go check it out. Thanks for the info!

rozesing Says:

Dec 2, 2008 - Go to see a kind of frensh metalcore band on my channel, it's called Roze.

beppebodom Says:

Dec 2, 2008 - Could someone tell me what is better(the metal core or the metal zone) for playing songs like in flames, soilwork and stuff like that??I know there's not a veeeery big difference between the two pedals, but I think it's better to ask someone...

Albee213 Says:

Dec 2, 2008 - I would suggest the metal core maybe. I like the metal zone but its kind of dry and flat. I think if you use a tube amp the metal zone might be a great choice. But the metal croe seems to be a little more well rounded but I have never used one myself just going from these vids and many do not set them up correctly.

copperrocks Says:

Dec 2, 2008 - This demo is very inaccurate. First is that the MT-2 on the ME-50 and the real ME-50 are not the same. The ME-50 uses COSM, which is a type of digital modeling, but the real MT-2 is analog. The other part is that you put the compressor on. In the ME-50, the compressor is before the Distortion. But you put the Metal Core before the ME-50. That would make the order of effects:Metal Core>Compressor>MT-2. Putting the compressor before or after a distortion affect drastically affects tone. Bad demo

asdf3455656 Says:

Dec 2, 2008 - Sorry you feel that way. haha. I'm not rollin in any big bucks, so I cant get a real metal zone, but hey I only did this vid because I was bored. I thought it sounded okay...

asdf3455656 Says:

Dec 2, 2008 - I heard you guys play, yall are pretty good. You need better recordings, but the music is top tier.
