Runor 2: Varianter och ätter i den yngre futharkenHär visar jag de tre varianterna av den yngre futharken. Till vänster har vi normalrunor eller danska runor, i mitten har vi kortkvistrunor, rökrunor eller norsk-svenska runor, samt till höger har vi stavlösa runor eller hälsingerunor. Jag berättar även om de tre ätterna som runraden indelas i. Överst ses Frejs ätt, i mitten ses Hagals ätt, samt underst ses Tyrs ätt. När man skriver med lönnrunor så utnyttjar man ett runchiffer, som bygger på ätternas nummer och runornas positioner inom ätterna. De mest kända exemplen på lönnrunor är på Rökstenen vid Röks kyrka i Östergötland. Runes 2: Variants and ættir in the Younger Futhark (in Swedish)Here I show the three variants of the Younger Futhark. They are Normal runes to the left, Short-twig runes in the middle, and Staveless runes to the right. I also tell about the three ættir (families) that the Futhark is divided into. At the top there is Frey's ætt, in the middle is Hagal's ætt, and below is Týr's ætt. The three ættir is used when dealing with rune ciphers. The most famous example of rune cipher is on the Rök stone in Östergötland in Sweden.
