Dec 5, 2008 - Now that Miss Tonya is back...where have you been Miss Ionprize08? You've been MIA for awhile. I understand though...sometimes you have to do what you have to do. Anywhoo...Tonya I'm so glad that your ministry is going well and that you are a mentor to teenage young ladies. They need the help so much and you'll be oh so blessed for what you're putting into these young ladies.

Dec 5, 2008 - *I need a word* usually means that the individual wants confirmation for something they think God has spoken over their lives or they are going through a difficult time and they just want some assurance that God is watching over them. It also means they are looking for some spiritual guidance. When the phrase is used, most people expect the word to come from the paster/prophet etc. But I have gotten *words* from the Lord from his word.

Dec 5, 2008 - There are 3 types of prophets. 1.Pagan prophet. they speak in the name of a pagan god. 2.False prophet. They say"thus says the Lord" and God has really said nothing to them. 3.True prophet. They say"thus says the Lord" and God has really spoken to them. There are a few ways to test a true prophet and some ways can be found in the Bible. One way is that there predictions come to pass. Some prophets confirm what God has already told you.

Dec 5, 2008 - I agree. They are wanting confirmation, because somewhere along the way our adversary is challenging what they believed they heard or should do in the first place.

Dec 5, 2008 - What is that? It is a person who does not have a strong prayer life and a weak relationship with the Lord.

Dec 5, 2008 - Hey Ms Tonya! I've been away for a bit, I'm glad to see that you are back. I've asked Barstowmama about you a couple of times. I haven't heard of that phrase you are referring to. Please share when you find out what it means :) Are they asking you for guidance?
