Fox News' comical "fair and balanced" slogan once again fails the test as they run a right-wing "theme of the day" with John Edwards as their chew toy.

Nov 23, 2008 - I thought Fox news hated the San Francisco chronicle?
BJBlitzstein Says:
Nov 23, 2008 - It's just like in advertising: you evoke people's emotions. They avoid what is real. Like the fact that 50K is not a lot of money when it comes to speaking fees. They give neocons something to talk about; something to get pissed off about. It's all about emotion, anger, rightousness with them. And they stink of it.
eyesonfox Says:
Nov 23, 2008 - Yep. Exact thought I had. Fox News always bashes the San Francisco Chronicle as untrustworthy lefties. Just as they bash the LA Times and NY Times. Yet, recently, they've used all 3 publications to bash the left. Notice Hume trash 3 Democrats in a row?
thefragile5qh5 Says:
Nov 23, 2008 - That's right. Instead of talking about the message, they kill the messanger. Poverty? What? In America? I can't hear you! LALALALALA JOHN EDWARDSS HAIRCUT! LALALALALABravo Fox News. Bravo.
Goadhatesmyspace Says:
Nov 23, 2008 - give edwards a break, do you know how much a haircut cost for him. Edwards' publicity comes from FOX NEWS, and it might bring back into the race with the other uber famous people.
LILVOKA Says:
Nov 23, 2008 - Doesn't Hannity get $50K for his appearence. Everyone needs to get paid for their speaking. Edwards is making public events that cost him time, travel and expense. Clark Howard, Bill O'Reilly, Barack Obama, John McCain and others are getting paid to do it!
LILVOKA Says:
Nov 23, 2008 - Also got to the websites that goes to public speakers and you'll find these "pundits" and "politicans" are getting paid to speak. See Tom DeLay and Zell Miller for observations.
overmind25 Says:
Nov 23, 2008 - It is the exact same attack they do with Al Gore and Global Warming (whatever the reasons may be). They start talking about Gore and his plane and his heated pool, and everything else that has nothing to do with the issue. All that proves is that at worst, Al Gore is a hypocrite (which he very well might be). It answers nothing on Global Warming.
overmind25 Says:
Nov 23, 2008 - Yeah, I like Hume as a conservative, but not as an un biased reporter.
nekb1 Says:
Nov 23, 2008 - Edwards is a fake. The entire rest of the media gives him a pass, Fox is the only news outlet that tells it like it is. Edwards is a far left anti war fake.
rhomea77 Says:
Nov 23, 2008 - they have still been attacking edwards. Today it was particularly bad.
ElZomboFantasma Says:
Nov 23, 2008 - Fox, Nazis, and furries. Kill'em all.
freeplay73 Says:
Nov 23, 2008 - I don't understand... if you are a wealthy, successful person, that invalidates any chance to be an advocate of the poor? Fox's "reporting" is nonsensical and hypocritical.
nekb1 Says:
Nov 23, 2008 - Ahh...No, That's your man: Edwards.. LOL Breck Girl FAG
bucki09er Says:
Nov 23, 2008 - Holy shit Edwards paid $400 for a haircut, that cracker got ripped off!!! My baber jamal would charge him $22 and jaml is po! so po! Edwards not only you dumb for gettn' ripped off but give back to the community man!!!
hbpwr44 Says:
Nov 23, 2008 - That kind of fee is typical for speakers at schools. His $400 hair cut is also easily explained-when you make that much money of course you're going to up the money put down on common necessities. I spend $14 on a hair cut, but I guarantee you if I made more I'd spend more-especially if I was in the public eye and in a crucial bid for president. They do not remark at all on his donations to charities. They think we are stupid and will take it at face value, prove them wrong.
jakobole Says:
Nov 23, 2008 - Fox tells it like it is??These socalled 'news' are little more than right-wing opinion made to look like news. What is the news value of this report exactly?
pirell Says:
Nov 23, 2008 - al gore invented the internet
simonddavies Says:
Nov 23, 2008 - yeah, I agree with Fox no rich person could ever have donated lots of money to the poor/community, it's not like there is a noun or verb associated with that specific situation!?!
RyDawg084 Says:
Nov 23, 2008 - buckio9er your an idiot.
kesonrad Says:
Nov 23, 2008 - I find it mind boggling that FOX NEWS is treating "the National enquirer" as a credible source. The National enquirer, a despicable tabloid piece of rubbish who builds it's stories on , lies, rumors and innuendos. That's the reason the main stream media had doubts on the John Edwards affair. All FOX NEWS is doing is selling more enquirer's filth, shameful! FOXS NEWS, TABLOID FAIR AND BALANCED!
DEFACTO9 Says:
Nov 23, 2008 - Fox News is a complete disgrace when laid next to many of the western world reporting of excellent quality organizations like BBC or CNN. All this right wing hatred of people who arnt rich, or may be of colour who are slanted as liberal... I just dont understand how they continue to get away with it... do they wear swastickers under thier suits?
mcmikester18 Says:
Nov 23, 2008 - "UC Davis, a taxpayer funded university... he did speak at the Mondavis, but students were charged upwards of $17 to hear him speak about poverty, and the question is... wh-whats with that?!" LOL fuck this bitch
themightylex Says:
Nov 23, 2008 - i'm soooo sick of faux news.
