I also agree with Rhein222 about Russia flexing it's muscle. We are arming Georgia and putting missles in Poland. What we we do if Russia was putting missles in Mexico along the U.S. border? Nov 23, 2008 - Russia has been doing exercises above Alaska since I can remember in the 80's. Palin could have made this a very strong point in her experience prtfolio, why I dont know. The Natioinal Guard in Alaska is the only group that is constantly on alert and deployed because its so close to Russia. they have to keep in contact with the states Govenor. But since it is of a sensative matter half the time I supposse it wasn't something you want aired in a election cluster---- like what we have now.

Yes I believe we are VERY VULNERABLE to a Russian attack. All our troops are in Iraq and other places. The TU Bear is still operational and able to carry huge nukes.
