Sean Hannity asks Obama, "Do you have the guts to come on this program". If I were Hannity, I wouldn't hold my breath. Poor little thin skinned Barack Obama. He's crying again, this time it's about how Fox news and Sean Hannity in particular are picking on him and his wife. I would say that he only perceives it as being picked on because the rest of the media is in the tank for him. I sure hope that little rat leader of Iran doesn't pick on Obama when they're having one of their little no preconditioned talks. Maybe he should reconsider the no precondition part and just have one condition, no picking on Obama. As for the wonna be First Lady, she seems to be able to dish it out really good, but when it comes back at her, she's no different than her husband, they're a perfect match. July 17, 2008, 8:04 amObama Blames the Right for Attacks on WifeBy Katharine Q. SeelyeSenator Barack Obama blamed the right-wing media for attacks on his wife, Michelle, that have driven up her negative ratings. In an interview with Glamour magazine , Mr. Obama pointed to "the conservative press — Fox News and the National Review and columnists of every ilk" — and said they "went fairly deliberately at her in a pretty systematic way" and that they "treated her as the candidate in a way that you just rarely see the Democrats try to do against Republicans."He suggested that spouses be off limits, calling them "civilians" and saying, "They didn't sign up for this."A survey in late May by the Pew Research Center for People and the Press found that 22 percent of the public had negative views of Mrs. Obama, while 16 percent had negative views of Cindy McCain, the wife of Senator John McCain, the likely Republican nominee. Both had about the same level of favorable ratings, with 44 percent for Mrs. Obama and 42 percent for Mrs. McCain. In the interview, to be published in the magazine this fall, Mr. Obama also told Cindi Leive, the editor of the magazine, that his wife was "ironically the most quintessentially American woman I know. She grew up in a 'Leave it to Beaver' family."News coverage of Mrs. Obama far outweighed that of Mrs. McCain in the first half of the year. The Project for Excellence in Journalism's Campaign Coverage Index found that in that period, Mrs. Obama appeared as a significant newsmaker in 102 stories while Mrs. McCain appeared in 28 stories.Another Pew survey last month found that among Republicans, 39 percent had a negative view of Mrs. Obama, while 26 percent of Democrats had a negative view of Mrs. McCain."If you start being subjected to rants by Sean Hannity and the like, day in day out, that'll drive up your negatives," Mr. Obama told Glamour. He said it was not the McCain campaign itself that was responsible for the attacks but the "apparatus of conservative columnists, blogs and the like."

Aug 6, 2008 - It's going to take a lot more than incentives for people to buy hybrids to strengthen our economy. We need alternate fuel, no one is arguing that. But we can't just wait until it is mainstream. Even if it takes some time, we need to work toward energy independance now.
Jdeen5 Says:
Aug 7, 2008 - Sending someone else would not bring Hannity much publicity. Hannity has Obama supporters on the show all the time.
Jdeen5 Says:
Aug 7, 2008 - Obama laid out a plan to end our need to import Opec oil in six years. Drilling will take at least ten years to produce any oil and it would not make much of an impact.
joelseph98 Says:
Aug 7, 2008 - Obama said he would send the guy on hannity's show to 'tear him up'. 2 or 3 questions in when he couldn't answer the questions he said Hannity should have Obama on the show to answer for himself. It was kinda funny.
joelseph98 Says:
Aug 7, 2008 - By hiking taxes on oil companies, forcing them to use leases they are already trying to use, shoving hybrids down our throats? Blah. You can't force change this way, new technology needs to be adopted and be attractive enough for people to voluntarily make the transition.
joelseph98 Says:
Aug 7, 2008 - I don't think many people realize it, but the 68 million acres that are curently leased to oil companies are shared amongst over 8000 companies. Large companies like exxon only have a small portion. Trying to force those that haven't explored them (because it doesn't make good business sense) could be disastrous, and put a lot of them out of business.
joelseph98 Says:
Aug 7, 2008 - Ok but seriously, agree to disagree. We are going to keep this going forever. Has been a pleasure debating with you - See you in November! : D
Rapprah Says:
Aug 7, 2008 - Hey Karl Rove you forgot your congressional hearing!
Rapprah Says:
Aug 7, 2008 - Sean Hannity is really a Naive little bastard. All the corrupt officials, gangs, and hate group are generous loving people.(sarcasm)
joelseph98 Says:
Aug 7, 2008 - Little bastard... Nice.
Rapprah Says:
Aug 7, 2008 - Thankyou

Aug 8, 2008 - Fox "news" and clowns like Hannity spend the entire time attacking Obama bc they know McCain can't win debating on the issues. They attack Obama to avoid talking about McCain's voting record. The only way McCain wins is if FOX succeeds at distracting the voters from McCain's record. They would like to avoid talking about the economy, health care, education, foreign oil, mortgage industry ect. I can't wait for the presidential debates. Obama is going to own McCain's old ass. OBAMA 08!
joelseph98 Says:
Aug 8, 2008 - You're not making any sense. Obama won't debate McCain. McCains record is obvious, no one is destracting anyone from it. Hannity and Rush mention it all the time. He is not an ideal GOP candidate but it doesn't take much to look better than Obama. Too bad Obama doesn't have the guts to say something someone else didn't prepare for him.

Aug 12, 2008 - Fuck this punk ass bitch Hannity. Eat a dick bitch!
joelseph98 Says:
Aug 14, 2008 - Good point. It is obvious that you have really thought out your perspective. You should run for public office.

Aug 21, 2008 - What a fucking Satirist. Why does "Fox News" have to be called "News"? they never present anything solid or relevant. its just like Paparazzi for the Politicians.Lady Obama was right, a lot of America is a really mean country. There's open discrimination toward everyone everywhere; ESPECIALLY with being "politically correct". Anything that is not "American" isn't accepted there. Hannity, face it, you crossed a line, and Obama called you on it. Stop crying.
joelseph98 Says:
Aug 21, 2008 - Eh... What line did hannity cross and how did Obama call him on it? Criticizing Obama? The only person I see crying these days is Obama. He's crying about being criticized for being inexperienced. He's crying about McCain 'questioning his patriotism', even though it never happened. He's crying about people 'saying he's young, he has a funny name, and oh did they mention he's black?'. Oh, wait, those last few things never happened. Bleh, open your eyes Libs.Nobama '08. Keep the change.

smith401287 Says:
Aug 25, 2008 - Karl Rove God knows he deserves a firing squad but what intrigues me about this guy is how calm he is even when faced by an indictment or bashing a candidate. This only tells he is someone who is not going anywhere and FOX is so FAR UP the republican ASS!!!!!
PicklesandFrogs Says:
Aug 27, 2008 - haha
joelseph98 Says:
Aug 29, 2008 - I don't think God is a big fan of firing squads.
Jdeen5 Says:
Aug 6, 2008 - No he said what he would do. He would give a tax break to people who brought hybrids and electric cars and he may close the tax write off for SUV's.
