Jul 21, 2008 - Statisc vary everywhere. One fact does not vary and that is that the world's supply of oil is limited. It is baffling why people insist on being addicted to oil. It has to be oil, nothing else. It has to be something that we can not renew when we use it. It has to be something that destroys the environment. Whatever we do it has to be the very worst thing we can do and it has to be that the rest of the world copies the worst that we do.

Jul 21, 2008 - I find it interesting that when people buy SUV's and increase their consumption of oil this is never once regarded as a security threat taking away resources from the military. What a pathetic excuse for drilling more oil. No matter else they will dream up it will be equally as stupid.

Jul 31, 2008 - we actually have viable means of processing oil shale, if it was 10 years ago it would not have been worth it do to its cost. Currently, Royal Dutch Shell has announced that its in situ extraction technology estimated after the first 5 billion barrels of oil shale is produced it would run at $35-$45 a barrel, economically it would be way cheaper and the environmental impact would not be nearly as bad as it is in Estonia, because the current technology has cleaner ways
