Others are suffocated with leaves, poisoned or simply abandoned in the jungle.According to Dr Marcos Pelegrini, a doctor working in the Yanomami Tribe Health Care District, 98 children were killed by their mothers in 2004 alone.Campaigners say that the true figure is obscured by officials who often record cases of infanticide as simple malnutrition. Dec 4, 2008 - abortion is not bad...but there is a point in which it is inhumane. what i mean is abortions late into the pregnancy...there is no defined line into where the fetus develops a consious, and to me that is when life truly begins. but its all a matter of belief and perspective. abortion is a big deal to me because my 5 year old cousin was born 2 months pre mature. and my aunt had many miscarriages before that. so its just a matter of perspective.
